Penny machines, which have surged in popularity in recent years, allow players to bet up to 400 coins per hand, with jackpots that can total as much as $125,000.
Slot and video poker players may maximize their play and experience more expedient customer service with the Golden Nugget casino ticket-in/ticket-out system, Quickets. Players now receive a payable ticket instead of coins when cashing out of a machine, simplifying their experience and freeing them from carrying buckets of coins throughout the Golden Nugget casino. Quickets will not replace coins and currency, but instead will augment them, as bill readers will be programmed to read tickets as well as accept bills.
